Dude.
You need to stop making all these insanely fantastic things.
Your making the rest of us look like rank beginners that can't even tie our shoe laces without help.
🤣

But it is way too much fun mate! 🙃😄need to stop making all these insanely fantastic things.
But seriously, check out this Supatrac tonearm concept.... very very simple and very clever indeed, well done for the dude who invented it👏👏👏
I'm surprised you didn't go with a levitating turntable... 😀

It even has some familiar feet:

Ha , you know me too well, I really wanted to use magnets but magnets are nothing less then a spring. And we definitely don't need a bouncy table 🙃 we need to absorber the energy and dissipate it into a black hole.I'm surprised you didn't go with a levitating turntable.
Therefore memory foam! It bounce very slowly 🐌 and thus is a better decoupling mechanism then a spring or magnets.
By the way I heard the maglev in Munich. Funny little thing
Ok, it's been a year since The TL2 are playing in my room. I had my fun and the neighbors too. They made me change the whole system and listening to them after two weeks break I utterly forgot how good and special they are.
So I am convinced of Troels work and it's time for some matching looks.
Adieu fair world, I'm gonna be stuck in the cellar for the next 2 years trying to follow Kevin Scott legendary VOX.
Wish me luck 😁

Yes, bought the veneer and starting the Sisyphus work.beauty treatment
At the picture below I Photoshop the veneer into the model. Still trying on computer before cutting the expensive walnuts veneer. thinking of integrating also some fine lines of black Eukalyptus.
I was thinking back of these with fond memories... Good to see you go for that!
By the way, shouldn't the title of this thread reflect that your build is actually the Loudspeaker 2, right? Or did I get that wrong.
I do like the fine lines, they could look very classy! They sort of help push the wavefront out, at least

Yes! 😉 and about time!I was thinking back of these with fond memories... Good to see you go for that!
Just trying to figure what works best and seems that accenting line live Living voice does the trick.
Living voice: Burl in dark frame:
TL2: Same results
Works for me 🙂. The walnut could be a bit more dark (and deep) to create a bit more contrast.
Nice brass holder for a super tweet on top? 😉
Not a modern look but it should work well in any decade...

Oh Mr Geller.
You mad man 🙂
I have absolutely no doubt you can turn these into anything you can dream.

The walnut will turn out darker with time, I'm thinking of giving it french polish instead of paint, it's the traditional way in antique furniture...Nice brass holder for a super tweet on top? 😉

BTW, we are still getting some 200 year old furniture to repair though it has really lost its value. We have in the shop some crazy crazy pieces of art nobody wants. The veneer work those guys have done without modern tools was insane!!
But fashion comes and goes, what seems antique to us now, may seem modern again in a few years.
Thanks mate! Everybody can 😁 just take a certain state of mind, and time, lots of ithave absolutely no doubt you can turn these into anything you can dream.
Sorry for the silly question - what's the white stuff you've apply at this point?
