Has your enthusiasm for the eminence beta10 cx in a karlsonator cooled? If tools etc. were available and cost not an issue, what would you build now.
No. In fact my next build will be the Beta 12cx coaxials in a K15. I have the drivers I just need compression drivers to go with them and a table saw and time to do it. I would have gotten the Beta 10cx's but received the 12's as a gift 🙂
If cost were not an issue I would probably try the W8-1772 in a skinny K15 scaled as shown above as a full range. Alternatively, as a two way, a K15 with a B&C 15 in PA driver or a Beyma 15 in 100 dB PA driver and an Beyma TPL 150H tweeter bi- amped with active cross over would be very nice.
