5ft is $3.54 at digikey. I would recommend ordering it whereever you need items. With small stuff like this shipping will dominate pricing, although there are exceptions. So if you need more items from TPA, order it with TPA. If you need items from digikey anyway, order it there.
Is there a date decided for the next stampede?
Hi Brain ,
When the Legato in stock? see the website ,still out of stock for long times.
wanted to order placid HD and placid HD biploar at same time to save shipping cost.

Legato is back in stock now.
Сomponents for i\v stages you will offer also for those who are not buying a full kits?
Not likely. Only harder to get parts, or things that are more likely to break, such as connectors.
Brian/Russ,
when will be available the BuffaloIII again ?.
I would like also to include legatoIII+power_supplies in my order but better if everything is shipped altogether. Now you have in stock those items and I don´t want to miss them.
Thank you.

Anybody know if 5.5V DC is the recommended standard for the Buffalo III or is it 5.0V DC? Which one is recommended for best sonics?
Thanks,
Anand.

5.25V ... see the integration guide
The 5.5V is upper limit for Trident regulators and crossing it will cause permanent damage.
Ground Series Resistors
I have 6 inputs . I have mounted 1,1 ohm in series with ground for each input to avoid ground loops between different sources . Is this ok ? I ask because I have a problem when playing very loud ( loose of lock ) .

sorry for newbie question, but S/Pdif is 24 bit max per design, what 32 bit input means in Buffalo III description, am I missing something?
The...
ESS 9018 DAC chip is a 32 bit part. It can accept audio input (PCM via I2S) at up to 32 bit word lengths.

I understand, but spdif protocol is limited to 24.ESS 9018 DAC chip is a 32 bit part. It can accept audio input (PCM via I2S) at up to 32 bit word lengths.
Yes, 24bit max is something you will have to live with if you choose SPDIF.
That does not have anything to do with the ES9018 being a 32bit DAC. 🙂
The DAC itself is a 32bit DAC, and if you want to take full advantage of that then you need to use PCM or DSD data.

And redbook is limited to 16 bit. So what? It doesn't mean you can only play 16-bit files on the DAC. The ESS 9018 isn't limited to SPDIF, so the 24 bit limit doesn't apply if you use another interface. Actually parts of the 9018 design are 48 bit. The input is "limited" to 32-bit in PCM.
