This is the main problem Vivek, the site is confused, ask registration and do not
finish the stuff of registration.... hard to find things.
We have not good informations about Bora amplifiers, this is the main problem... wonderfull designer, but his advertising and informations are very weak.
Or you are lucky and have direct contact with him to obtain schematics, or you will be in troubles to have them.
I could never download anything into Bora's site...and asked him twice to translate to the International language but was not made....so.... the wonderfull designs he has are not well explored, or at least, not so explored as they deserve.... the information system he has is very weak.
I use to help, also Victor, in special Victor......Bora is very busy, but i really think he must give us those informations in an easier form.... i have found the exclusive Serbian language site higlhy problematic about empathy related to other countries.
Nice designs, but alike an airplane always in the airport.... hundreds could be already constructed by the DIY community, but this lack of informations turn this wonderfull airplane, called "Bora designs", be always parked into the Airport.... the airplane will never take off without an easier information system offered to DIYers of the International community, and writen, of course, using the Internacional language..the English.
It is a pitty, one guy build here, other build there, and the amplifiers are excelent..but hard to obtain informations.
Let's make a test.... let's see how long Bora will read this and how long you will have the informations..... i hope do not delay more than your patience....because if this happens you gonna select another schematic and will abandone Bora thread.
Maybe Victor will appear first.... a pitty i have to say, and once again, Bora is too much busy.
As i have opened the thread to Doctor Bora, i felt myself responsable, and i have to open my damn mouth to complain about that sittuation... i feel sad to see the thread going so slow.
The thread goes alike an abandoned car.... many years and only 11 pages!.... i will not push it to life anymore, will let it die.

Thank you so much guys for your help. This looks like a simple enough amplifier for me to build as I do not have too much experience in building high-power amps.
The problem is I am really unable to decide which to build for my sub.
I can get any transformer made either for the Precision I or Techno (or any other amp) if it will satisfy my need for HT sub amplification.

Just to inform members here that the Techno paired with Clepsidra preamp. Wow the drive and power is extraordinary.
I use two transformers at 350VA each (+/- 35Vdc)

I am only running with hifi speakers (JMLab - 4 ohm).
I percieve with the drive it gives, it should be around 85W per chanel. I have no means of measurement.
Initailly I use only one transformer for stereo pair.
But after adding another transformer, the drive is like bridging amps. A good preamp is essential, like Clepsidra.
Lower bass are very deep and extended.
Try building it to realize it's sonics.

I am in a fix as to which amp to build. I have been posting all over diyaudio as I am unable to decide about the amp for my subs. I wouldn't want to build one and find that it is underpowered. I have 70W amplifiers and the subs just won't go. That is the problem.

I never charged anyone from DIY community for any of my designs, so even those available only directly from me, are free!

As I understand it there should be no shortage of power in an HT sub when it is needed. So, this could probably be good for normal music.

I am not a bad guy...the opposite.... i use to do what i feel that i have to do... what is rigth to do.
I hope that no one will complain, for sure i have contributed a lot.
Victor is very good when he feel the thread is moving, then he inject a lot of energy, with images and help..but he do not make the thread move constantly... and he could do that.
So.... you gonna need to feed dear Bora, or, the thread will be forgotten and will dive deep into the black hole of our erased memories.
Keep this good work alive dear Bora and dear Victor.
