Hi Gennaji, i m no more a youngster as well since ages ago, feel free to ask whatever you need to complete
your amplifier final design, exact values of some components are not very critical, that s a proved schematic
since the 60s and has been widely used in many low cost commercial amplifiers till the early 70s, as it is currently
it should work flawlessly.
If ever lateral FETs are hard to find or expensive you can adapt it for cheap darlingtons (as did Bang and Olufsen circa 1972)
assuming you add a VBE multiplier, up to 15W (20W at the very most) BDW93/94 performances are as good if not better than
laterals, for more power BDV64/65 for instance (or their US equivalent TIP141/TIP142) are to be used, they do not have
as good THD as the BDWs but are still providing great results at say 30W/8R power and are much more rugged.
