Sorry to say this but we are having a hard understanding your layout.
Also lurking...
Good to see all the support 🙂
I wonder how the designed top will compare to the DR. I am building a few of those soon so I'm familiar with the design. They look hard to beat, and the directionality pattern and all the little tricky things have been accounted for. If a open source easy to build design was made that could beat it I'd be interested
Happy hunting

Epa can you add some measurements to the above animation layout that would make it 100% for me to understand and answer any question if ask. This is great.

top/bottem 22x20.5/8 3/4(18mm)
left/right 22x24 3/4(18mm)
back 22.5/8x20.5/8 minus 1/16 (removeable back pannel) 3/4(18mm)
speaker baffle 22.5/8x20.5/8 see drawing for cut out 1/2(12mm)
for the horn pices you best use the drawing.
the rear chamber is to large as it is now.
whe have to come up with a solution for that.
before you put the cross in,whe need to measure the eminence precise to make some final adjustments.
also whe need to cut from the front cross to fir the horn/driver.

Can one sheet of 18mm ply and one sheet 12mm plywood build 2 top.
Don't forget the cutlist layout that makes it easier for the carpenter to cut the plywood without wasting it.
We want to get the plywood cut up so we can assemble both tops this weekend.
We have less then two weeks to finish this project before my husband surprize party.
Thanks

as whe can see from the cut sheet,we are shy the back pannel (3/4) and the speaker baffle(1/2) to make 2 boxes .

Thanks for the cut sheet, I am going to try and add the measurements to your cut sheet and pass it on to the carpenter, hope I get the measurements right.
My order from PE will arrive tomorrow. I understand 90% of epa layout, still trying to figure out how to add the measurements to the cut sheet

The top and bottom brace center cross 21 5/8 x 151/2 where on it must be cut at 65 degree angle.
What should the size of the speaker chamber be if it is too big as we speak.
Thanks

hi nathenry
15.1/2 is correct but you need to add 2 sawcuts thickness to the 21.5/8(best to cut it 1/2 bigger)
this also go's for the left /right brace/center ,15.1/2 is ok but add 1/2 to the 19.5/8 for the cuts.
chamber must be between 7to 20 ltrs (10 is best)
you could use hard foam blocks to fil up the space ,or make a square chamber,in the chamber.
13x13 wil be ok
edit/using degrees is not so acurate.
when you have cut the board 15.1/2 top/bottem/center,draw the line 7.1/4 to the corner.
let me know when you have the beta 12.
