Thanks for the link. 138 pages ??? !!! I prefer for such very low symmetrical consumption the above approach (it is NOT MY my own design). VERY low noise.

Good Afternoon!
This is what I refered to.
You can zero offset by the pots in the power supply. For that you need separate dual supplies for both channels. No need to match fets perfectly. Just select pairs with close ids. I did in a vero board.
Srian.

In the that thread I see huge pcbs and you don't need the 1A current that LM317/337 can supply. For the 2SK170 10mA is the upper limit. How many mA coursing/sinking this circuit ? 2~3 mA ? even LM317L/337L (100mA) are too much but I prefer TL431 because it is a "shunt regulator" and you can adjust the output voltage very easy, almost no noise output and it is in TO-92 and very cheap and RELIABLE (almost ALL SMPS use it for output voltage adjustment).
Elias
P.S. If you have time have a look at that

The high power is for the custom dcb1 hot rod Mosfet shunt reg section in that thread, not for the JFETs load. The load is about 20mA stereo plus what the relays consume.

I don't hire an all bus to transfer just myself from "Koliatsou to Pagrati". My scooter suits me better.

P.S. I like read-relays. They are extremely reliable if you don't exceed their specs.
So in my (professional) opinion a piece of "perforated veroboard" is enough (but I like that part without the HUGE 7812. The LM7812L is more than enough.) supplied by a "THAI LIN Mod. TL30D-120-088(N)" or equal transformer. The load is about 20mA stereo plus what the relays consume

LM317 used in audio power supplys are very quiet. In addition it is followed by LM 317 current regulator for the + supply and LM 337 is used in same way for _ supply. This gives a low impedance ± supplies which do not need heat sinks (due to low current needs).
Resulting in an Extremely quiet. Extremely tranparent DC B1.
(The buss will take you to your destination very safely and very comfortably than the scooty).

I didn't claim anywhere that I like "safety", conformity and confortability (if you get my spirit) BUT I really submit my respects to efficiency and reliability. It is my point of viewing thingksvery safely and very comfortably than the scooty

Let me permit to reveal my latest find.
I've been using my B1 with the SMSL A300 class D amp because although the A300 is an integrated amp with a volume control the sonics were superior with the B1 in between the dac anolog out and class D amp input.
I keep the B1 at full volume and control listening volume from the digital volume control of the class D amp for best performance.
Recently I powered my Sony RS av amp beause it had been lying without use for some time.
The Sony ES av amp is also an integrated having its own digital volume control.
Found the piano sound was lacking the dynamics I am familiar with.
Connected the B1 once again in between the dac analog out and av amp cd in, and the piano sounds came back natural again.
( Found all input holes of the av amp rca inputs been covered by house wasp nests. Cleaned and vaccumed the inputs and sprayed WD40 to all my unused rca inputs. Now, I am goog for another six month from wasp nests).
