I'm curious what you guys think about the psu. Skip the 220R resistors? Just clc? Or clclc?

Are you sure about the 200 ohm DCR? Seems quite high to me, especially for half of the HV winding.
As far as I know, PSUD uses the half winding values for both voltage and DCR when simulating full wave rectifiers.
A 5U4 to supply a 90mA circuit is ott.
An EZ81 is made for this circuit and has slow start too.🙂
BTW please keep your heater wiring as far away from your input jacks as possible.

The ott is not an issue for me. However.....perhaps I'll use 2 * 6c5s I have.
The heater wiring I was worried about. But if it is an issue...I'll rewire.

It may not matter too much, but I like to have the bodies of my my grid stoppers almost touching the socket pins.
True..I do try that as well...but I chose for some to rather have it all in one piece going from pin to pin....than to have it very close to the pin....but I have to solder another piece of wire to make it get to the connecting node. If you know what I mean.
All the result of poor planning on my part. But since it is not finished...I might take on some of the advice...after all...now is the time to do it right. 🙂

Sometimes you can use an unused pin to get the grid stopper connected between the grid and the unused pin. I use pin 6 for 6L6-like tubes, with the stopper connected between 5 and 6.
I won't comment on "clever" things I have done myself 🙂Yeah. I thought I was clever. And cut them off on the el84 socket.
Nice build. Using the 6.3Vac EZ81 means the 5Vac winding is no longer needed. Leads to a cheaper power transformer for those hoping to copy your build.
Have you simulated the power supply in Duncan.
Best regards
