Amp build complete, after a whole day playing with drill, jigsaw, screwing, soldering.
The amp's case looks ugly but sounds beautiful undoubtedly.
Cheers!!!

What made you think that?
The power cable + plug + socket is rated at 250V-10A.

It does not concern Ani, since he does not care about whether the cable pulls out or cuts through.

What makes you think that too.
It is secured with a knot inside(glued) and a cable tie. I would also insert a rubber washer(didn't had in stock) for the cable to pass through.

Yes I had(now out of stock in my parts bin) this kind of rubber washer that would fit in the hole and cable would pass through it.
Thanks anyways
Hi aniket
Nise amply
the case you used make yourself or bay from shop. why amp hit sink not mounted with fan.
I got the case made at a local sheet metal shop, made from 1.5mm steel sheet.
The fan is mounted in the back to exhaust hot air out. the space between heatsinks forms the passage for the air to pass, thereby cooling the heatsinks.
Care to share your PCB layout? thanks.... nice build...
You mean, gerber files .??
Aniket, that layout looks awesome man I like it

Juan
Thanks a lot Juan, inspired from fellow DIYER's like you and AlexMM.

I sure hope you can find a better and more practical way to secure the mains cable
but amp could still be nice though

Hi,
I agree to your safety concerns. I just did it for the time being as I didn't had the power connectors in stock.
I am going to buy a bunch of these(pics attached) on my next visit to the electronics market.

Very good project. Must be easily repeatable. I like the one-side PCB layout with relatively short thick lines.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
Valery
Thanks Valery
Hi Aniket, I also bought that type of connector, I went with the one with built in switch and fuse, very convenient, you get one with mains filter too.
I just recycled a old power cord used on my old PC, for the power cord

Yep, it's also available here, even better option.
Thanks Vostro
