The last time I cooked with "wood smoke" we were bruning out the stump of a maple tree. I threw a grill on it and cooked burgers... They were ashey AF but they weren't bad...
If I wanted to smoke anything, I'd do this: Ultimate Guide to Smoking with Wood Chips on A Gas Grill - Girl Carnivore
These days, I do it all in a cast iron pan. The only smoke comes from the meat or the fat burning off of the stove.

Hey koda, ware not discussing the same thing. What Girl Carnivore is showing is what you do when you don’t have the real thing and are grilling rather than smoking, aka BBQing. Nothing wrong with what they show but not the same thing.
I am not making my own pellets!
C’mon man. I checked it out and with making pellets, I figure you can make about $1.45/hr if you work really quickly that is 🙂
Now you’re talking my friend. The last time I cooked with "wood smoke" we were bruning out the stump of a maple tree.
Picked up a Tektronix P6021 current probe from our government. 🙂
Hopefully it works. Better odds than Ebay.
Also just received a Pass ACP+ kit from the store. Looking forward to building it soon. Its a preamplifier and headphone amplifier kit. Being cooped up due to COVID means I have been building lots of kits lately.

I ordered one of these to replace a mechanic's stool that kills my butt and back.

Just bought *another* Tektronix 2235 off eBay, parts or not working. Definitely don't need another project, but we all do impulse buys on this kind of thing, right?
I almost bought a 7000 series mainframe, but just don't have space.

I need some plug-ins for my 7613 and 7633. You're in good company though. The urge is always there to buy something to fix and then use. Okay, just to fix.
Ebay gamble transistors arrived today, and they are all incredibly consistent for Hfe.
2SA733P grade mode about 390, outliers span 356 to 430 - pretty much K grade (300 to 600Hfe) - outliers compose about 10% only.
Given the price I am surprised.

Ordered an adaptor so I can hook up the 44mm le4ns from my Soviet START camera to my EOS M camera.
Awww, they can't be that bad (teenager collar)
I've been working for speaker parts... last project ordered drivers (only) for the infamous SR71. I'll be sandbagging the cabinet plans and crossover schematic off the website.

Fakes are usually around 200 I find.
I was expecting them to grade at the low end of their gain band, or be fake, but they appear totally genuine.
Spurred on by recent purchases, and somewhat automatically, I ordered 100 j176, and other fave devices, low TC references, and HV BJTs and stumbled upon a gem!
