Win 7 can do the same SRC stuff. Its less explicit. Remember PC sound is about getting noises with no user complaints. Hiding sample rate stuff and the like under the hood would be the first choice for a product manager.

WaveForms 2015 on UbuntuMATE 8.10 gives nice result with RTX6001
Only restriction seen so far: SR not higher than 48kHz offered - may be I've to learn some more Linux stuff🙄
