Maop 10 is my favorite and it will be hard to beat.
Right now I'm listening to a nice record with Eric Gadd from Sweden. He made many records here. It's called Eric Gadd. He has a good mixer that makes the sound image big. Width outside speakers and good depth. Also available in height. Impossible to hear where the speakers are in the room if you close your eyes.
Drive balanced straight through Class D. Good pull in the bass. Well controlled with a precise voice in the middle. Love my miniOnken that grab everything with precision.
With my choice of music, pop and rock, the bass is sufficient in terms of level and depth. Very balanced sound indeed.
Class D SHOULD be run balanced if possible. Clear difference from unbalanced. Better control and precision. Can't compare. 😆

Hi Leif , so are you now saying these are your favourite speakers, I was looking at the A12p but have heard not so good reports.
Maop is my favourite. But A12.2P in that box was better then before.
Maop10.2 have problems with matched pair now. Maop 11 probely best choice now. Unlucky for you.
A CHP-90 in stock now. I will soon get a pair. 😉🙂
I went for theA11ms in the end and to be honest I'm struggling with them , built some mid size nostrumos and they sound flat and lifeless 🤔

Yeah think they will work better in a MTL box, which I'd have held out for the CHP's be interested to see what you think of them.
It's a lot about personal taste..
I want precise sound, i.e. good transients and a tight sound.
3 d is important to me.

Like you I value precision and a large sound stage.,maybe it's my room ,it's well damped so needs brighter sounding speakers and equipment, I will play around with them, because I'm sure there is a good sound in them somewhere.
I got a different sound with cat6 cables. I used coppar before.
