Hey guys! I have listened to my OB for a while now and here some things i discovered.

1) At first i thought its no big deal but tweeter rally needs to be silenced.

2) On my setup Alpha 6 needs to be taken down a few db from 1kHz and up.

(My current XO : 12mH on reversed polarity woofer, 68uF on mid and 1.6uf on tweeter)

For now i use EQ on my sound card. (Resistors on tweeter didn't do well since i couldn't get precise values.)

Yes, EQ kills music. I use it to find out which frequencies annoys me. I have few coils at home i bought for my friend and i'll try choke the mid a bit and also try cross the woofer higher for change..

I have recived the correct paint to use.. now I'm waiting for the calligraphy tips.. after that I'll slap some paint on the woofers and see what happens 🙂

Playing with XO : I've put some resistors before the tweeter for now and changed the coil for a smaller one and got full bodied voices.

Naa... I have been playing with the db-meter I bought a few weeks ago, just to realise it was crap.. It lost its accuracy from 1kHz and up..

People at hififorum have been asking for measurments.. Before and after EnABL process... And I tried to give them that :/

Anyway.. I'm waiting for the Calligraphy tips.. They should arrive early this week.. The templates for the Alpha-6 are done.. So the tips is all I need now..

L-pad for tweeter.. 5r + 4.7r
1uf after the L-pad..

move L-pad right at tweeter , so 1uF is between amp and L-pad ;

this way you choke your amp without need

did you relocate that cap in front of L-pad...... in case that you are at home?

fine i'll add it as soon i get the parts. I'll try the lpad too🙂.

Update : seems i was convincing myself i liked the bright sound better. l-pad brings the sensitivity lower than my single resitors did.
