Mishkaa,
I resently took delivery of 4 12 inch heatsinks from Russell, aka barredboss here on diy audio. The units arrived in 3 days and are of very good quality.
He offers several different sizes and the prices are competitive.
With the thick bases and tall fin heights I do not think there will be many amps you could not build with these.

My present project needs to be completed before I can start another. It should not need such a massive sink. However I will likely pick up a stereo board pair now, possibly stuff it and then shelf it until my preamp is done.

Can I still get in on this? I just ordered a set of PCB's for the aleph30, but if this is a bit better, I think I'll switch directions and go w/ this.
Could someone briefly explain the X version?
thanks,
Scott

Hi Peter,
I would also like 2 stereo sets of the Aleph JX (4 Aleph J boards and 2 X-input boards) if I'm not too late.
Thanks,
Looney

For the newbs here (yeah, that'd be me) can you let us know what we need to do from here to get our boards?
In additition to my requested 2 stereo pairs, please put me down for 2 X-input boards as well. There is no such thing as too much power. 😀
The X-input boards are part of a stereo set, already included.
I don't collect payments untill I get confirmation that the boards have been shipped to me; from there, it will look like that: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=140306

How much total heat do we have to dissipate from each channel of the AJ-X? Or what is the standard bias per output device for the AJ and I can figure it out myself.
Thanks
Thanks
Someone asked me by PM whether he can use Peter's boards for 300W AX-J. Funny that he did not asked Peter, and that the reply bounced back with user unknown.
I have not built or even looked at an AXJ300, so I cannot answer with certainty. But apart from needing at least 4 main boards and 1 daughter board per channel, one needs to cascode the JFETs at least. Whether there are other things to watch out for is best answered by the Master himself.
Cheers,
Patrick

This is still an open order, and I usually order double what people declare, so nobody is late, yet 😉
