when I was young, I meant that basics aren't so important ...... but time did show me they are

there are many books around, more or less informative about amp building basics

so, with minimal basics covered, you'll see that entire world of information is available, just looking at pics of finished builds of other people

The higher temperature rating of the second switch is also in its favour. After all, we're building class A amps here. 🙂

I advise you to learn basics

If you're stuck on switch, how on earth you think to handle everything else, to build entire amplifier?

I mean, fine, I'm Neuro-Surgeon, from tomorrow ........

I have already built two amps. I followed the advice of qualified people and they work... I thought I could do the same with adding a switch. I was wrong.
I received the components. I haven't built the amp yet.

you got your answers

- with weak switch, you must use relay inside, switch energizing relay coil, while relay contact energizing amp xformer

- you got confirmation to buy linked 15A switch

- you got schematic how to wire your xformer

I don't see a problem, except that you're expecting that someone here must exactly follow your thinking process, instead that you need to understand replies
