I'm going to have my A400G2 waveguide professionally printed, either by a local shop or somewhere like JLPCB.
There a lots of choices in material and print techniques.
There's SLA printing with 9600 or 8000, CBY or X resin,
Then there's FDM printing with ABS, PLA, ASA, PA-12-CF or TPU
What would be a good choice? It's going to be in full sunlight if that's a factor. The plan is to have them spray painted.

SLA will be very expensive and you do not need the resolution.
I would say most people print on pla, it is real cheap, easy to print and probably the best surface finish.
I would print in petg since it is almost as nice a surface finish but a lot stronger when printed.

That's what I read, but at JLC3DP, SLA is the cheapest option. Still far more expensive then i hoped though. Almost cheaper to buy my own printer...
Pla is quite sensitive to any temperature above 60°C, it gets soft and may deform under its own weigth. Depending on sun exposure and colour of the horn that can easily be the case. It's going to be in full sunlight if that's a factor.
Sorry I missed that. Then pla and pet g are not suitable. It's going to be in full sunlight if that's a factor. The plan is to have them spray painted.
ABS is often used for temperature sensible parts. But it shrinks quite a lot after printing so assembly might be difficult!
There usually are some local maker spaces or print farms. Might be worth to meet them. ...
Old idea finally realized. Ath designed WG for ESS Heil.
