MCH is a great choice. I can show you how to connect up to this DAC to get the best out of it 😊
By the way, does MCHstreamer work with linux(alsa) ? Anyone tried?
Acko, if you have time and mood)) to share, did you use it wih your dac as master? How you overcome the shortcomings? Does Ian`s FIFO solve it completely? By the way, FIFO better to be clocked from DAC clock, or vice versa (in case of clock board added to FIFO) ?

The only measurement test I found for MCHstreamer

MCH can work with Linux as advised by MiniDSP but not tested yet.By the way, does MCHstreamer work with linux(alsa) ? Anyone tried?

DAC has flexible interface for both Clocks and Inputs. McFiFO compatible… More details later🙂
8-channel DAC will now include MCHStreamer installed as standard so you can get it to work right away. If you wish to use other types or arrangements simply remove it 🙂and the big fella 😉
Works with WiiM Ultra (Linux) 😊By the way, does MCHstreamer work with linux(alsa) ? Anyone tried?

Note: the balanced outputs of these DACs are gain-staged to ~10V rms. This means they can directly drive popular balanced Amps e.g. Class D types (TPA3255, Hypex, Purifi, NCore etc) close to full output with better SNR.
Other DACs, mostly around 4-5V rms balanced output so not optimally matched levels …

and possibly this one too directly without having to use a separate driver:That means there is no need for additional buffer stages that are typically used for this type of connections. Outputs from the DAC are strong enough and can be wired straight into the Amp.

Getting excited. Been checking this thread on a daily basis. Time to start on the power supply.
