Hi, I wan to know what would be the transformer power rating needed for a stereo protection circuit ?I built the circuit , Apex stereo protection but i'm not sure what does the transformer rating need to be for this?

well I assume 6VA should do the job.how much an IC controlled relay circuit can draw anyways.
If the relay coil draws 20mA and the control circuit draws 3mA, then @ 12Vdc you have a total power of <0.3W
Double that to run the transformer withinit's max rating and you need 0.5VA
3VA is plenty big enough.
Now go do the sums for whatever you want to drive.
