I sacrifice 1-2dB of SPL becouse I want compact box size, but this sub still have good bass quality. Subs with 2x12inch and 2x15inch speakers have full size box and max SPL.

yes it is compact, not as efficient as w-bins but very useful when you have to consider space requirements, and easy to tune also for live band set ups

i will only paint my box with ordinary lacquer paint mixed with calciumine powder using paint roller, if you want durable finish use glass fiber matting, chemical resin, styrene, cobalt and hardener, this very difficult to do and dangerous
Live band set ups need very high definition (clear) bass from subs, many musicans replace DYNACORD Xa2 or Cobra with this hybrid sub becouse of that.
i agree😀, even my serbian co worker mr. dzelotovic was surprised when he heard this sub at his office at next building besides our warehouse, he was amazed how a diy sub can match even branded names we use

i had made the b500 amp. very nice sounds...but one thing i concern is my bias voltage is .600 the other side is -.0200 not valance and my dc offset is -160mv what would be the posible mistake?... i had 45 0 45dcv...my output trans.is c3263 and A1294...my driver is c2344 and A1011...pre driver is mje340 and 350..but sounds very nice no distorted what would be the posible cause please i need your advice..

With low rail voltage you must use 1k/2W for R24/25 to get 15V on Z1/2 or you can use external stabilized PSU +/-15V for IC.

On R20/21(100R) you must have 0,5-1V, if don't replace R15/16 (1K) to get 0,5V (5mA thru VAS transistors MJE340/350), and use 1k pot instead R22(680R) for set BIAS (10mV on 0,33R/5W is 30mA per outputs)

No standard for holes size just must be lot of them, cover must look like 'net'.
