Ah, OK.That jumper setting is only for the "Kit" version. Mine is the boxed version and all settings is in the UI.
I read that the boxed version is set to a fixed 2.0Vrms max input (no hardware or software adjustment)

It takes 0.93Vrms to drive the amp+RCA buffer to full output See post #535
Now reading through internet, the iphone audio out seems to be around 1Vrms at loads above some 40 Ohms.
If this is true, the headphone out should fully drive the amplifier

Previously, the RCA/XLR IO buffer has 6dB gain inside, so it's the correct voltage as George measured to drive this amplifier to rated output. And with feedback from some friends that the entire system gain is a slight larger, so I reduced the IO buffer to unity gain at latest shipment. And this will require a pre-amplifier to drive it to rated.

Just one thing.. I might have got this wrong.
I,m using one module in bridge mode. And the bridge "switch" seems to just mute the amplifier.. It took me a while to figure out why I didn't get any sound on the sub..
Is this correct behavior ? connected to right channel RCA and both + on speaker out. when I flip the switch it just mutes the output.

Wondering about if input voltage sensitivity is different between FFA001 and FFA002 ?
Seems like I have to give the FFA002 a bit more to get to full volume.
Seems I can only find the data for FFA001v3 in the thread.
Would it be possible to get the measurement data for FFA002?
I like these things so far, will be pushing them a bit more.
Slight hiss at idle, far less annoying than some other designs I have tried, it's a constant low level independent of volume level.
Regardless, these are very good modules, will send you a PM to get some more FFA002's.

I doubt it. I put two of my amps with the phono inputs on an aluminum plate with an all wood cover & it has no appreciable hum or buzz.In terms of the balanced I/O buffer, how important is the grounding to the rear panel through the XLR connectors? I wonder if I'll run into problems if i use a non-conducting rear panel?
