Quick response thank you, the sound of your mounts with Sit is very good (I also tried in ra7’s TDV montage follower with Front end 2022), the sound is beautiful in both cases.
I’m in the stage of making the box, the most difficult!
Another big “thank you” for your support.

I'm looking at chassis ideas for this build. Modushop has a nice pair of monoblocks that might fit the bill.
https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/category&path=324
The chassis is 6.25" high internally, although appears to have decent ventilation. The perforated bottom panel eats about an inch of internal space, but the largest part seems to be the Antek AS-3430 at 5", so it would fit if upright. Internal space is otherwise 230mm x 400mm (9" x 15.75".)
The heatsinks are two (per chassis) 200mm W x 165mm H x 40mm thick, so in total 400mm x 165mm per chassis.
If the 2SK180 were mounted centered between the two heatsinks, would it be enough cooling?
Thanks.

Looking at the specifications on the Modushop website, each 200mm x 165mm heat sink has a C/W of 0.38, so for two the C/W is 0.19.
For comparison my amplifier build has a Modushop 300mm x 200mm heat sink with a C/W of 0.20. The heat sink gets hot but still cool enough that I can keep my hand on it indefinitely. No doubt the large aluminum chassis helps to dissipate some heat too. However I think the Modushop monoblock chassis should provide adequate dissipation.
Yes the 2SK180 should be mounted centred between the two heat sinks. Because of the physical layout and pin location of the 2SK180 you will need an aluminum angle or tee to mount the 2SK180 and that will help to distribute the heat to the two heat sinks.

Thank you, Ben and Gianluca. Also, I'll add a category to Nelson's heat calibration chart: Not hot, which would be somewhere below Blimey hot on this chart, and seems to describe "...I can keep my hand on it indefinitely":
I'm going to have to put this on a T-shirt at some point.

Does anyone have spare amplifier and power supply PCBs that they don't need? If so, please send me a message.
I'm interested in building this 193V Choke Loaded 2SK180 L'Amp project, but the set up fee for 1 set of boards is quite high.
Thanks!

Which pcb company did you try?
I just checked on the JLCPCB website and the price for the amplifier pcb was $7.00 plus $1.50 for the slowest shipping. The price for the power supply board was $6.80 plus $1.50 for the slowest shipping.
These quotes were for two separate orders and shipments. The total price may be higher if the two boards are ordered and shipped together.

They have great prices if you go with their cheap shipping.
I was wondering where danskercher got his quote.

Thanks for pointing me to JLCPCB.
I tried using Digikey's PCB builder. They give quotes from Royal Circuit, Advanced, etc. The lowest cost there was $170 for 2x boards.
Glad to find out about other PCB vendors.

$170. Wow! JLCPCB has a minimum order of, usually, 5 boards, but will still be cheaper than that by a long shot.
I'm working on another order for parts for my build and figured it might be best to check in with the group so that I'm not ordering parts I can't use. I will be building this design for a pair of 2SK180s. I have taken the parts list from what adrianrw posted a bit ago, but since he was building for the THF-51S I want to make sure the parts do not change for the 2SK180.
A few questions:
For the power supply parts:
I only found a part number for one of the bridge rectifiers, the 1000V 35A version, part # 4878-KBPC3510FP-ND. Are both rectifiers the same? I can't seem to find a reference. (Additionally, the schematic shows the part values as 600V 35A.)
General parts not on schematic:
CL60 thermistor for transformer primary windings (to work as soft start.) Specs or part number available?
Barrier terminal blocks - these are probably fairly general, but if there were a part number, I would really appreciate it.
Finally, here is the parts list.
Am I on? Am I way off? Either way, thanks for the help!

A big Meanwell on the positive side (that is: 5A or 6A quoted is what I have). This terminated in earth.i will try to build one these THF51S Follower in the following month , it seems to be difficult to build a stereo amp with both the linear power supply and the big 193V choke i have . so is there any external SMPS to use ? is one 24V 5A meenwhell per rail will be ok ? running at 2.6A ?

The second one that supplies the V- can just be 1Amp, as that is just signal. Minus 15V is also OK, as this side is a CCS. This means that well, you save money.
Parts are the same for THF-51S and 2SK180.
The 1000V bridge rectifier will work. Higher voltage is not an issue.

Hello gentlemen, where can I buy insulating washers for the THF-51S( inner diameter 4 mm and 5 mm outer)?
Thank you in advance for your answers

As for precut insulating pads, there are some on ebay.
I do not know if there are any precuts available from Mouser or Digikey.
I usually buy rectangular pads from Mouser, although now I will only deal with Digikey as they ship from Winnipeg whereas Mouser ships from Texas. Plus recently shipments from Mouser have been delayed for days due to export control holdups.
