Group member are starting to receive their kit. Please let me know when you get them and post your comments about the kit as well if you like.

BackOrder Update:
I shipped all the kits I could with the parts that I had in stock. I cannot ship the remianing kits because of the back orders:

Motor Pods: I have all the black pods in stock but I still didn't received the last batch of silver pods that I ordred. For the last batch, I asked for surface (boat) shipping to save on cost for you guys because the shipping costs of the first batch was really high. I'm starting to wonder if it would at been better to pay the extra and get them more rapidly. Delivery time was supposed to be around 2 months.
They were ordered on 28 Nov, so two months is about end of January. Sorry for the delays, it is the first time I order surface from china. Still learning. next time, I'll ask for Air shipping...

Switches: The switches are still on back-order since Nov 5! They are scheduled for delivery Jan/21. I just asked for confirmation from Digikey. If the delivery is impossible on short notice, I think we will need to find an alternative solution.

If it is a problem for you I can send you all the parts I have in stock and the pod later. You can start assembly the pcb in the mean time.
If will be just a little bit more expensive in shipping cost.

Let me know. Sorry for the delay. I do my best.

Hi, i received my kit here in Vienna - the pcb is perfect - i was looking were to download the kit documentation pdf you mention some time before? But could not find it - please give me a hint.

Greg, Guy and Sylvain thank you very much for all the work you guys have put in to supply us with excellent parts!!! Thanks again to Mark Kelly for publishing his design...which is what made it possible to have such a GB in the first place.

Having done a GB before I know how much work it is.

In terms of complexity this groupbuy must have been one of the biggest and most time consuming I've ever seen. Sylvain has devoted so much of his time to this GB. In my book, Sylvain is diyAudio Man of the Year 2007.

UPDATE:

-BIG NEWS: Finally, Digikey received the missing swiches and sending them right now. I should be able to complete all the parts kits. I'll be able to ship the one that include the Black motor pods as well.

The silver pods are still B/O.

-Last version of the documentation is almost completed. I should be able to post it tomorrow. The project documentation ver 1.3 will be the last update. It includes a nice schematic with all the test voltages and a lot of notes and remarks to help you with the circuit.

The PCB assembly and testing documentation is also almost done. This will be the final release, version 1.1.

Check the thread for details.
