Hi Potstip,
Here are some more photos. I’ll show you all that I have as we go. Here are some more. The poly fill damping is pretty straightforward. Fill closed end to the top of the speaker at the 180deg turn. Adjust to taste or by taking impedance sweeps with a DATS. Approximate volume of poly fill same as two size No 5 soccer balls. If bass sounds too boomy, add more.

Yes, that looks great. You can conserve some foam by only covering at least 2 walls on the long vertical run down the back. But what you have is fine.

I got a question from Potstip on how to do the stuffing. This is too much. You only need it from closed end to the top of the 180deg turn. It’s all adjustable through the woofer cutout so no need to add it before final glue.

I am now about to order the foaming and would need some advice regarding the thickness: I can order with 40 and 60 mm, which one would be better?

40mm is fine. 60mm might actually be too much and constrict flow.

right, saw those. Lucky customers! You were smart to stock up on those 8" woofers. Unavailable for some time now. Probably on a freighter awaiting a crane.
