Minimum +/-35V DC rail voltage, +/-50V DC maximum for AX17.
Regards
Single pair for +/-45V DC & 4ohm load maybe it's hot
If add 1 more pair what happen?
Need to add 2 more 0r33/5w, 2 more 1n4007, & 2 more 4r7
or I do need to change anything?

Here my PCB design...
It is okay? Maybe some comment please:)
Pcb size is 10cm x 6,8cm
Thanks

Regards

John

So If I have no mistake...it means that AX17 does have better performance comparing to AX18...
Could you describe what kind of advantages that AX17 has? such as deeper bass, crisp high, or anything else? Thanks in advance...

Best Regards,
Arif B

Comment about sound is not objectiv, any new amp sound better for me but in time... you must find differences.
Regards

Ok Dear Mr. Apex...
fair enough, I am just wondering why you designed some AXs..I am sure you have your own reason...I believe that AXs family sounds great..
I am still waiting customized toroidal transformer to feed AX-16...I up graded some electrolytic caps with available nichicon and sanyo from the local supplier....even not the best and audio grade components but the sound is better now
Now my AX-16 has better sounds in bass, clear high and crispy high..

Can you post pictures of your work, and share expiriece, measurements...

Hi, Apex sir.
Can B80 amplifier work with more than +/-45V, and what need's to be changed?
Have a lot BDV64C/65C transistors, they are 120V 12A 125W.
Regards.

Also I have problem with some your amplifier boards that I trade with my friend. There is ~12V DC on output.
Will post pistures.

Amp on this pictures is D14 with 2 pairs of darlingtons in output stage, and you can use it with +/-60V DC rail voltage without changes but you must add another pair of BDV64C/65C outputs.
And again you must connect input GND with PSU GND for any test and measurements.
