For the people that build many amps and want to try different topologies, it's wise to build one good regulated lab PSU for at least +/-35-40V. It's noiseless and practical. When you find amp topology that you like than you can build dedicated PSU and put everything in some enclosure.

What is ripple on this supply into typical amp at quiescent current of say 400mA?
