Can't say, if it sounds better (at the moment it is not connected to my main system) but 96kHz input and output is working on input and al 4 outputs.Could you eventually check how it behaves at SR=96kHz?
Hi@chriss0212 : You can always check parameters of the actual device stream at /proc/asound/your_card_name/pcmXp/subY/hw_params. If the reported params (samplerate, sample format, channels count) differ from CDSP playback params, than the plug plugin does the conversion automatically.
I am a complete Linux newbie and happy to get so far 😉
Trying your code is ending in an error... have used the hardware name i get in alsamixer but it seems "()" is not alowed.
little feedback:
after a while i got some crackling and distorted sound. maybe camilla is not really locking to the RME?
I enabled the resampler now... let's wait again 😉

OK... resampling was no solution... maybe rate adjust 😉
Sound is good for long time, but after some hours crackling and distortion start.
After changing parameters like resampler or rate adjust, everything is fine again.

Best to use completion using tab key - second press will tell you files in that directory. Then you would see that the name in the file is different and X/Y need to be replaced with the actual device and subdevice numbers.Trying your code is ending in an error... have used the hardware name i get in alsamixer but it seems "()" is not alowed.
It’s toslinkWhat is the source? Spdif? If yes, is the output clock locked to the spdif input clock?
Input rate is Same as Output rate… locked: to me it seems, they are not locked!
Problem: RME drivers are not working on LINUX… driver support is only by Kernal 6.12.x
Solution: upgrade the kernel to 6.12.x.Problem: RME drivers are not working on LINUX… driver support is only by Kernal 6.12.x
