The Wolverine 5th Group buy

@Mainframe

I see that there is no soft start board included with the kit purchase. I will get one with the W12 PSU though, but it's probably not good for this specific build as it's supposed to be used with the class A amps.

Is the one from diyaudiostore suitable for this build? Or should I look somewhere else? Much appreciated!

Hi dovla83,
A soft start doesn't normally care what the circuit is. I haven't looked at that specific one, but a normal soft start will be good with tube amps, class "D", class "A" or "AB" amps. All it normally does is put a resistor in series to limit inrush current, then short it out once some time period has passed, typically 1/4 to 1/2 seconds.

Here is the PCB pic, maybe it can tell you more. Components are:

C1: 3300pF, X1 safety rated (Digikey: 399-9513-1-ND)
TH1: CL-60 (Digikey: KC006L-ND)
TH2: same as TH1

Can someone confirm, is there a way to make sure you’re on the list? As mentioned I don’t have the ability to fill out the form, going old school. I’ve directly messaged Stuart from the email where I purchased the 4th version. It’s been a week or so and crickets. Just want to make sure I don’t miss out.

Thank you,
Dan

63VDC 1uF - 5mm LS - for both locations
MKS2-1/63/10A is listed as one of the many options

Now that I have PSU sorted out, can you please advise for what I need for the dual mono build (one chassis build, not separate monoblocks):

EDIT: found some answers, hope it's not wrong

IPS, Pre-Driver & Driver Heatsinks with Mill-Max pins installed - one package of 6 for EF3-3 build
2SA1381E / 2SC3503E Transistors - 8 pairs
Dual Bridge Rectifier Board - I'm getting these with W12 PSU, please let me know if not good for this build!
Speaker Protection Board - need a pair for sure plus the small trans you showed me (trans I need to get on my own)...
T-Ground Board - two boards for dual mono
Ground Lift - two boards for dual mono
EF3-3 Boards - how many is needed for my config, 2 x V5 EF3-3 + 2 x IPS or 4 x V5 EF3-3 + 4 x IPS?

Anything else missing from the group buy pool of parts I need to add?

Much appreciated!

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear enough.

For me in Canada, if the product is being shipped from US, than I use a courier service that imports the merch for me and delivers it in a facility in Mississauga where I pick it up myself. That is the prefered option for me but only if shipped from US. In that case, I need to use a receivers address that is in Niagara Falls, NY, than the courier handles it from there.

If it's being shipped from any other country but US, than I use my Toronto home address as recipients address.

Hope this explains why I need the country from where it's being shipped from. Cheers!

Sorry guys, I don't know anything re manufacture/distribution (being at the bottom of the world I'm useless here anyway). Stuart can hopefully answer that. He's likely flat out cooking up the V5 finishing touches.

I think in the past group buys there have been AU, EU and US distributors?
