We just quick tested with the original.
But shall build according to post #1.

Just received an "AKLOSPY" USB speaker, it's NOT the 300 yen speaker, it's trash.
Just a cheap look alike. Only one 8002 op amp (2 watts) and the drivers are dreadful
Hi cracked case,
DAISO 300yen speaker's internal amp is also 8002, so it might be the same base.

The circuit board in mine only has one chip, that drives both speakers. There is the traces for a second chip, but they omitted it to save money.Hi cracked case,

Wow, one chip for 2 channels is too stingy.
In any case, it would be better to have an external amplifier.

Hi Patrick.
I am not attracted to 3D printers because my enclosure will cost 3.15 USD to build.
But it's nice and easy to make a box just by leaving it alone.
MDF(300x400x6mm) x 2 sheets - 1.45 USD
PVC sheet(300x900mm) x 1 Sheet - 0.75 USD
SP terminal x2 piece - 0.95 USD
TOTAL - 3.15 USD

Yesterday a received two pairs of AUDIOCORE AC870 speakers, defiantly better than the AKLOSPY ones I got earlier; two chips for two channels. I got two pairs because I intend on making a four channel amp, but I will see if I can improve on the circuit for stereo first.
I would not waste time on those tiny "amps".
If you can call them amps for speakers.
Just use a single STA540.
Gives you 4 channels SE, or 2 channels BTL, or 2.1, all with one chip.

Hi ChrisABC,
Thanks for the information.
Tectonic TEBM65C20F is a cute shape.
I love mini speakers and make a lot of them.
I don't use filters, graphic equalizers, tone controls, etc.

Are all these speakers based on the same geometry, from left to right, like the HB-07 , HB-06 and smaller, or is it not just a matter of simple scaling down?

Hi Dupt.
Sometimes I simply change the width, but usually I design from scratch with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness.
The most important point in design is to cut from a fixed size board without waste.

I can confirm that decent fullrange loudspeakers with current drive make me happy soundwise and EQ becomes less important than with voltage drive.
This is due to reduction in distortion and some natural attenuation of F response by current drive.
Ideal combination.
With voltage drive and use of EQ and some resistance in line to mimick a tiny bit of current drive you get good or acceptable results, too.

The BF32S is more similar to this :

We did one by 3D wood printing, just yesterday.
