Is it the same Semi South unit as J2? I have a J2 box with Semi Souths waiting, but I need to look at parts. I thought (haven't looked at them in long time) I see mention made here of SJEP120R085, I thought I remembered having parts ending with "100" rather than 085....I do remember tracking them down specifically for J2...now...
Where did I put those?

Wait a minute, may have answered own question, which may be dangerous. Noticed in Zenmods description "SJEP120Rxxx" with Xs instead of numbers.... hopefully meaning both work. Trying to get into safe to see my J2 parts stash. I know I remember buying two pairs, first one directly from semi south the other pair from a group but.

I know, I know I said no more amps 😊 but I do have 4 matched R085s that Mike M sent me. This I think is more interesting than a F7 which has a placeholder on my list. Just my thoughts
I took have F7 (and J2) parts box standing by. ...one of these days, but also have F5m and AlephJzm finishing, ( why I don't know, have original F5 and Aleph J already)
which have both been on hold while I repair/replace XA252 that I messed up sending a massive transient through it.

Off topic but I will say in my system, XA252 has been the tops of all the many clones I have built. Have seen used XA25 as low as 3500, if they get much lower may snag a used one? It might be prettier for darn sure, but not sure if anything tops the XA252 by any margin, it is really good. Oh, mine is straight puck mosfet version.

It's a special amp. I built a couple iterations of it early on as design changes were flowing from his mightiness. One version is still playing beautiful tunes, and the other was sent off to another forum member.

Thanks again for all the lovely designs and toe tapping, Aleks!

For anyone - I am pretty sure have some boards in the US that (I think) require a trace (or two) cut, and if I recall... need a cap routed in an interesting manner. Cover postage and they're yours along with pics of mods needed for getting them singing. PM if interested.

was and still extrabussssssy, at least few days more

will need few days to relax, just to wrap my head around necessary logistic

it didn't help that I was on short hiatus, needing to spare a little my aching back, that time of year, I suppose

reason why I'm late with few other kit shipments

A pitty we cannot get those magical SJEP120R devices anymore. They were used in solar inverters and so on. If I only knew in which, I would buy some old inverters and scrape the SJEP's from them.
