They sound really good, nice deep bass. For a little driver they produce lots of lows and powerful.

As-Builts record exactly what was built and accuracy -- and even precision -- is a hallmark (or should be!)

The question, qbas, should be how did he settle on those amounts.

Hi Qbas the 10.2 goes deeper. Both are perfect drivers.

I think the right amount can be determined by measurements at the bass opening. If it is good, the high frequencies should be more than sufficiently dampened and the low tones minimally attenuated. When my enclosure is ready, I want to perform these measurements.
I once took a picture of the inside of the Sibelius and you can see that there is a mesh mat glued in. Possibly to be able to add damping material later via the driver opening??? Or to hide the inside…

I doubt it. Variations on that, fishing-line strung across from eyelets etc. are fairly common in straight or expanding QW pipes to stop damping material falling down to the base!
