nothing of that is complicated when you have them in hands

just disassemble frame/bracket logically, re-stack, assemble frame/bracket back

no need to bend/re-bend anything

(now, I made so many posts recommending his work, it's silly
Intact and Cinemag owe me some freebies :clown:)

Design change (image here) -- no more screws, but I can now confirm that restacking is possible by prying back and forth the claws to slide off the brace. Might be worth getting a bar and screws to replicate the old style.

Do you have the link to that aluminum gear looks quite nice and I would like to implement in my goldpoint mono pots.

Thanks
That is a great idea if the Goldpoint pots fit. Now, when you see the item on eBay, there is actually a picture of a sort of extension so that the pots can be mounted at the rear of the unit, and that means that just about any pot can be used. This unit actually quite high in quality.
I don't have a link but go to eBay and search for 'PASSIVE PREAMPLIFIER DIY HI-FI HIGH END stereo with balance channels' No wonder I had trouble finding it again.

Thanks for the photo. It helps to see and understand the progress.

Since I am looking, can you tell me a place to get the right heatsinks for this build? There is a mountain of them out there, so I want to get the specific one required. Mouser part number, etc.
