It's possible, but some of the filters are quite variable with respect to resistor and cap values.
Thank you Nelson. It's possible, but some of the filters are quite variable with respect to resistor and cap values.
I cobbled the circuit together to fiddle with values until the PCBs arrive.
Yay! Boards back in The Store.
Simulating in LTSpice and looking at driver response curves.
For my Markaudio 12P's, it looked like the high filter caps at about 1000pF and reducing R5 to 10k would do the trick.
I left low filter with Pa's reference values.
I'm really liking the sound vs. my old passive baffle step correction. It was just a low pass filter. Detail without the harshness and enough bass.
Rudy likes it too!
Thanks Pa!

No ;-)You had to sell some real estate to acquire that complete bag?
it was the journey with a group buy project at AAA and at this time we had get a good discount (and they was cheaper as today).
Hi all, just order the kit and wonder if some one have the EQ value for Seas Exotic F8 ,4 Omh., so I can order the correct parts. Thanks in advance.
I recall having them, so I'll look.
Any chance you would also have similar info for Lii Audio speakers such as Fast-8 and others?
Thanks in advance.
Ordered mine. I'm not sure if I need it, but for $10 might as well try it and find out.
If you come across the values for the Lowther PM6A while going thru your files, feel free to share those as well. 😉I recall having them, so I'll look.
I see the essentials kit is in the store (and in my cart) - is there any chance of a completion kit being available soon? Thanks - this looks like fun!
P.S. Does anyone remember the passive kit that was once offered by Bottlehead? It was called The Fix - here's Dan's explanation: https://forum.bottlehead.com/index.php?topic=5145.0
Seems to have a similar intention.

This depends on your enclosure with regards to the bass EQ, so there is not a straight answer.Hi all, just order the kit and wonder if some one have the EQ value for Seas Exotic F8 ,4 Omh., so I can order the correct parts. Thanks in advance.
The reference curve in the article would be a good start for a sealed box with a few cubic feet,
and possibly open baffle.
On the top, you probably also want to start with the reference curve, as the upper mid on the Exotic
is a bit hot. Adjust to taste and see what you get.

This is what I have for the Lii Silver 10 in their bass reflex enclosure.Any chance you would also have similar info for Lii Audio speakers such as Fast-8 and others?
Thanks in advance.
I haven't had the time to test my other Lii samples....

Yes, it did, and also provide baffle step correction. It had a bit of adjustability - sorry there aren't any photos in the linked thread. If I can find the one I built I could attach a photo. That one seems intended to boost the highs, though, if I am reading it correctly.
Yes, I think it does, in addition to have a few choices of baffle step compensation. Attached is a photo of one - not mine, which is bright orange and stashed away somewhere. (Sorry for the double post - I found the photo and didn't see my other post posted.)That one seems intended to boost the highs, though, if I am reading it correctly.
