Which speaker terminals would you recommend?

For prototyping:

Quick, easy, handles more power then most connectors of same size/useability.
Does not vibrate loose. No screw to mar multi core wires. Secure clamping from 0,25mm up to 4mm2 or 6mm2 fx, regardless of the size of each wire.
Can even put in a gel box for waterproofing. Din rail mounts available etc.

Very simple to use, remove insulation to ca. correct length, insert wire, close clamp, even see through to check everythings okay. No need for ferrules on multi core, adviceable for 0,25mm2 as it will increase the wires mechanical strength.

Cheap, and comes with 2, 3 , 5 holes.
I wonder if they do a wago type connector with a solder tag on the other end .

Unless they are on the front, nobody will see them anyway.
Got for a higher than expected rating, from a good brand available locally.
And decide if you need to make and break connections frequently.
I prefer to use two colors for line and neutral in the electric panels I build.
But I will not impose my choice on you.

My choice is for a type like these (no tie with vendors or manufacturers)

using ring crimp connectors in relatively "stable" systems, that's if you do not need to often replace many loudspeakers for testing purpose.
However the binding posts are able to receive banana-plugs, forks, stripped wire or with ferrules or even soldering it.

Good sounding, and good value for money. IMO

OK, never thought about that, AFAIK the 4 pole one is simply the standard that is used everywhere...
I thought about these things instead. 😉
I take note of the fact that you say that the 4-pole is a standard used anywhere, I had no information on this before.

But what is wrong with using the 4 pole connector?
Maybe just nothing, it is only one of my conceptual preferences. 🙂

Looks pretty good.

And this is mostly about how it looks.

Is it this one?

SpeakOn or these clamping nuts.

use them often.
