Woke up and found my invitation email.

I probably should have waited to place my order after I had my coffee.

Not an excuse, but I also have a pounding headache again this AM…allergy season is killing me this year.

Anyway, half read and stumbled through things. Didn’t see the part where you were supposed to order everything at once.

I had expressed an interest in the balanced kit and then later, being unsure, I put my name on the list again for a single ended kit.

I successfully ordered the balanced kit.

I went back in with the email link afterwards and it seemed like it would let me use the same code if I wanted to order the single ended kit…albeit a separate purchase and shipping.

Decided to not be greedy and possibly screw things up further.

Just took the balanced kit for now…so there’s another single ended kit for someone who was interested.

Not sure if I’ll get another email since I added my secondary interest a while later.

Just refreshing my memory.

The description said the balanced kit can have a mix of single ended and balanced inputs.

Can it also do single ended and balanced outputs?

- any number of 5 inputs can be (permanently) arranged as SE

- both Bal and SE outputs are functional in same time

I can't find the answer to this. Does any Pass Clone Amp have / need balanced capability? I have SE and Bal requested but if there is no need for Bal in my system now I can afford to order Bal later. My turn is coming up soon. I don't know, yet, how many kits are allowed to be purchased.

I have no DAC's but do have a Bal CD player.

I believe at least Aleph J does balanced…I know my Babelfish J2 does as well…probably some other iterations and a variety of ZM’s creations sure.

Chromenuts, the only “option” you loose by building the balanced kit is switchable gain: 6dB or 12dB.
Balanced is 12dB only.

of Papa's things circulating here, Bal inputs ..... are practically all Alephs, J2, and all PL amps

of mine ....... darn, too complicated to remember (but luckily codyt made a list to call for), Babelfish J, Babelfish XJ, Babelfish XA252, Boo/Pooh, Plethora of Pinjatas and all amps having "P" as suffix,

Great question. No. The next batch of kits will be sold in the store using the normal process. There will be no queue.
