The kits are on their way to the fulfillment center. 🙂. We've said we'd be fully transparent re: all the actions it takes to get a product into the store. One step left...
We have an opportunity for up to 10 FPABs (Fearless Pre-Amplifier Builders) to be the 'first' to receive their kits. There will be 5 SE kits and 5 Balanced Kits available for sale immediately. This is to check the entire process from end-to-end before releasing everything around the world.
Qualifications
1. Must be in the continental USA. We want this to move quickly re: shipping and logistics.
2. Must commit to build the complete functional circuit within 1 calendar month of receipt. Just a bench build. No chassis necessary.
5. We welcome builders from all experience levels, but please be confident in your ability to meet the timing. At a minimum, the schematics, 'KISS' thread, and parts lists should be reviewed before committing. An experienced builder can have the SE built in around 15 man-hours. Balanced should take around 20 man-hours.
Note - Boards from this run and parts sets have already been tested and verified. There is very little risk to the FPAB.
To sign up. PM me with your email address. If you've expressed interest in both SE and Bal, please let me know if you want to build both within the month or just one of them, and which. We'll send out both kits to avoid having you need to pay for shipping twice. Retail cost for the kits is $130 USD for SE and $150 USD for Balanced.
Elena from the DIYA store will then contact you directly to get the kit(s) shipped to you. I and some of the team will likely politely nudge things along as necessary and check on things during the build. We love 'porn'. We're also available for questions should anything arise.
All of this will help stress test the full system and assist with the build guides.

This is for the Balanced version - note that both options for relay left in - delete the one you decide not to use and update the numbers
