I am out of stock. I can add you to list for next GB, should be about a month before I have enough demand to run it.

This regulator is GREAT! It use it in my DDDAC build and I am very happy. Maybe I will need to upgrade USB-I2S module, so, can I set 3.3Vout? Do I need any modifications? Now it runs at 5Vout. Very stable.

Reflektor-D is optimized for lower Vo already. L-Adapter can also go there. Modification in the Ubib can be tried by changing M2 to logic level like the IRL530 and using one red LED only but I am also worried about resulting in far too squeezed voltage margins for some JFETs in this. I.e. It could possibly manage but I am not sure if as good as you already like it at 5V.
Hi Salas.. My SSLV1.3 UltraBiB accidentally shorted the output and then shuts down and doesn't work. Which component should be suspected of being damaged?
It usually current limits and survives an output short. That is what the M1 controller does on top of biasing the shunt.
Look in Q2 and Q3 for correct Vbe first (around 0.6V). Then for M1 M2 correct Vgs (around 4V and 3V or some more).

Thank you for your response. I have checked the components, and found that the M2 IRF530 is broken. Since I don't have IRF530 in stock, is it allowed to replace it with FQP3N30 in M2 position?
Should also work with M2 FQP3N30. Later replace with IRF530 or IRF630 for better transconductance and ruggedness.
*See also about good M2 contact with its sink and proper temperature. Maybe it wasn't just due to a short but a weakened M2 easier breakdown due to prolonged high core temperature.
Hi Salas, long time, hope all is well. I need a new psu for my MiniDSP 2x4HD. It doesnt need much, well below an amp 12 vdc. It comes with a wallwart of 800 mA but the consumption is rather mA. L-pad seems a bit overkill, what do you say? I need to ground and lift the psu anyway to get rid of a loop so I thought I’d diy something.
”…ground and elevate” is probably what I ment. Ground and then lift it doesnt make much sense🙂
Yes, I like it. I do not leave it on all the the time. Consumption is much lower and I think that it's a better solution for this use than an ultrabib.
I also use them to power my raspberry player, my nuc pc that I use to play files and for the 8V supply on my shigaclone cd transport. It is very versatile.

Hi, nice to see you posting. All is well. As Vgeorge advised the L-Adapter PSU is most adequate for the consumption pattern of such devices. Well liked and made by many.Hi Salas, long time, hope all is well. I need a new psu for my MiniDSP 2x4HD. It doesnt need much, well below an amp 12 vdc. Thanks friends. I better keep my eyes open for a gb then.
Vgeorge, wich NUC do you power with it?

L-Adapter has even been used for powering heaters in vacuum tubes.🔥I also use them to power my raspberry player, my nuc pc that I use to play files and for the 8V supply on my shigaclone cd transport. It is very versatile.
