Keantoken's Aurum-X 300w Amp with LatFETs

Thanks for the words Ozark, very encouraging. 🙂
Well sir, many heartfelt thanks to you, keantoken!!!

PLEASE understand, I am not judging / grading you / this project.
Clearly in no place to do that...

I am truly blown away as I study the layout, with materials.
I feel immensely humbled by you, others here and
in the opportunity to build this amazing device.

I want to wrap my mind around it (more completely) so as to
aid in a more intuitive and synaptic flow while building it.
It is an easy circuit to reason. Makes so much sense.

KUDOS !!! Thank .you. for the immense effort!

XRK and JPS64 handled the BOM and most of the layout work with pointers from me, so much of the final design as built borrows from their expertise. They can be credited with bringing the project into 3D, figuratively, physically, and literally. My main contribution was the schematic, but what you see when you look at the board is mainly their handiwork.

That said, we shouldn't congratulate ourselves too early, otherwise any future needed revision/rework may seem like a drag...

Well said, great modesty balanced with honesty. I am still marveling the board... everyone's contribution.
~ indeed XRK and JPS64 out did themselves ~ with such masterful transition from schematic to PCB.

Congratulate ourselves too early. I have .tried to. temper my expressions and enthusiasm. I clearly struggle.

It is like seeing a great photo as a RAW file, knowing that with a little finessing, "photoshop" work, from that...
comes great things. Beta builds, be it a camera or world class amps, some fine tuning is to be 'expected'

The layout and beautiful boards are all thanks to JPS64. He makes it look easy what mere mortals only dream of doing.

My only contribution was having the idea that one of the best layout designers on DIYA can work with one of the best amp designers on DIYA to produce perhaps, what might be one of the most badass amps on DIYA. I won’t say best because that’s all in the ear of the beholder.

This is certainly what I would consider a “flagship” amp build.

I’m so happy that this project has enough momentum built up to finally come blasting out of the silo.

~ S C O R E ~ XRK!!!! A best in class effort no doubt! A flagship amp to be sure and (your words)
only contribution was that modesty trait, readily embodied...

There is such an art to this transistional layout...
[and then maintaining it] implementing it in construction,
into the .somewhat guarded optimism. build phase...

In a ways it is "impossible to fully reason" some PCB layouts with any schematics or hard documentation.
This Aurum-X PCB is popping with attributes... With admittedly limited time looking PCBs over,
I feel really good (about my grasp) the implementation makes so much sense.

She is a very "classy gal", and not "hard to get" 😀

JPS64 has ordered the FE mezzanine edge guide rails. Another batch is coming next week. I guess they were hard to find, even in Europe. He will send to me and I will send out to the team.
Thank you, JP!
