Hi,
Nice TT!!
Can you please tell me where you got the mag lev platter bearing. Also if possible the platter weight and magnets dimension.
Many tsk
Adelmo
Hi.....sorry I missed your question...I don't seem to get notifications from this thread any more.
Essentially I made the bearing myself.
I think that I bought the magnets from an eBay seller.
It is just two N52 neodymium ring magnets in opposition to each other. Their dimensions are roughly 100x60x5 .They produce a "lifting force" of 15kg with a 5mm air gap..... so I machined my platter to that weight.

For me it started in the early days working with Russian tubes. I had a lot of questions for people with a lot of knowledge but, no English.
But all you really need to know is "два пива пожалуйста"

Fully balanced phono preamp
Here is my fully balanced phono preamp for MC cartridges, using LL1941 step up transformers and 4 X Tesla PCC88 tubes. Adjustable Gain: 62,66,72dB and Loading adjustment on secondary of LL1941 to match the cartridge. I used two case design for low vibration and to keep away the transformer from tubes. It has a mute circuit with delay. Maida style regulator on phono PCB, heaters are regulated.

Thank you guys. It took a considerable amount of time to design and finish the preamp. Especially the cases.
Here are some before and after shots of a recent restoration I did on a Technics SL-150.
