With some help from Gianluca, these are 4U mini-Dissipante chassis. I went with the double heatsinks because I'm planning to morph these into monsterblocks. Started with the F6s and realized the output impedance was too high. So I'm taking a small break and just enjoying. When I get the hankering, will be investigating the F5 circuit as it lends itself better to balanced mode. (If you look close enough to the top shot, you can see the standoffs already mounted and ready to go when asked to.)

Wow, congrats. I wish I'd been able to convince my son to build an amp with me. He's smart and capable but wasn't motivated for the build and I was too busy to push it.

Awesome! I did the same with each of our daughters when they turned 9. What a fun and rewarding afternoon that was and over a decade later and the amps are still used every day.

Been meaning to post a picture of the updated casework on my Singing Bush monoblocks. The chassis’ I used have worked out great, with the one exception being that they don’t offer nearly enough ventilation thru the top panel. I whipped up a quick design and had Gianluca at Hifi2000 make the panels. As usual they did an awesome job (and for the best price…).

Do you have any higher resolution pictures of the insides? Those things are *dense*! Very nice looking! I hope to do compact mono blocks at some point in the future. Did you get the back panel custom printed?

Yes it is. These chassis’ came with 4mm top and bottom covers. I think the original front panel was around 14mm thick!
