As noted earlier, we are limited on the header pins, that make up part of the PCB Kit. I set a max limit of 2 PCB kit pairs per person but some people will only get 1 pair due to a limited supply from the vendor.
We should be OK with extra PCBs and resistors.
If there aren't enough for everyone to get two of the PCB kit pairs, then I'm happy for you to reduce my count to one pair.
Thanks for your work on this.
Nigel
GB Update-
I'm sorry to note that I will have to limit the PCB Kits to one pair per person. I cannot get the header pins in quantity to provide 2 pair per person. Rather than some folks getting 2 and some getting 0, I've made the decision to make sure everyone (who ordered) gets a pair to go with Papa's LU1014D.
I've started to send out some invoices using Paypal. They are sparse- a quick accounting of what I'm invoicing and the cost plus postage. Please PM me with questions or problems.
I'm looking for a volunteer to handle distribution of the GB for the EU members. If I can send one large package to an EU address and then have that person handle the individual mailings, it might lower the postage costs. If not, I'll send the individual packages from the US.

Thanks for the update wg. Not a problem. Pins are easy enough to fab from other materials lying around the shop. Thanks again for taking the reigns on this group buy. I’ve only done a small one myself and it I know it takes a lot of effort. We’re truly thankful for it.
Thanks for the update wg45 and no problem on the pin supply.
Hefty kudos for the effort you're putting in to facilitate this for us.

GB Update-
I'm sending out invoices to USA members. International invoices are taking a bit longer. I'm working with a few members to figure out international shipping rates, which I need before I can send an invoice.
For all members, please make sure your Paypal ID is updated with your shipping address or include it in the comments/note section with payment.
If it's not there, I have to send you an email asking for it which does slow down the process.

Package arrived today. Thank you
now to start a build using these Jfets and all the adapters which I reasoned would work well for some of the mosfets I have too..dB

It may be worth a reminder that Paypal will only forward a 'buyers' address if they use the 'Paying for goods or service' option, in which case wg45 will pick up the Paypal fees.
With the 'Family and friends' option, which would mean the buyer paying the fees, addresses aren't forwarded so must be included in the notes section.
Personally, I expect to pick up the Paypal fees and include an additional amount to buy wg45 a beer to thank him for all the work he's put into this exercise.
Anyone knows how much will be charged to wg45 if I select the option 'Paying for goods or service'? I have tried paying with 'Family and friends' option and paypal charges a lot of the total amount (Around 30-40% of total amount) which is not worth of it. I would prefer to pay a little bit more and choose the option 'Paying for goods or service' such that it can compensate the service charge and can also buy wg45 a glass of beer.
Paypal fees vary a lot depending on where you live etc. and I think sometimes there is a fixed element as well as a percentage applied, so it's not easy to give you an answer, however, if you use Paypal it has facilities that will show you the fees appicable to the different options.
You can also google for third party Paypal fee calculators.

nautibouy, thanks for the "family and friends" ='s no address, information...that's exactly what I did, making wg45 email me for my address.
Thanks wg45 for the package of goodies!

Thanks all for thinking about this.
It looks like Paypal is keeping 7-9% of the of the cost when paying for goods and services. The costs for this GB are low so far, with most costs being under $20. The average cost will be higher internationally as the postage costs will be more.
It also may explain why I do not get a shipping address with a few payments. I guess if you select F&F, the shipping address does not come through with the payment.
Choosing either payment method is fine with me. I figured it would wind up being a mix.

Hi,
I don't want to be a nuisance if you're simply working your way down the list, but it seems some people at least have already heard about how to pay, but I haven't yet. Did I miss something?
Best

Hi Nigel,
Each LU1014 was packaged into a labeled bag,
Then sorted, paired, and combined into another bag.
The adapters were bundled and taped together.
The pins were bundled and taped together.
Then depending on how many boards, the SMD resistors have to be counted and cut off of the tape.
Then the adapters, pins, and resistors are put into a bag.
Then a USPS shipping slip is generated and printed.
Then the shipping label is hand taped to a padded mailing bag (previously purchased).
Then the components are put into the mailing bag and sealed.
Then the package is taken to the post office.
One request manually :snail" completed by volunteers, in their spare time.
I see that you are number 104 out of 131 requests.
I think Zen Mod's suggestion of "patience" (different thread) is a good one.
The only thing that got automated was the printing of the testing of each LU1014 done by woofertester.
This truly is a gift by XRK971, Nelson, woofertester, and wg45 to all of us.
Once again, thank you all!

No, you're fine. I'm working my way through the list top down, with the early signups going first.
We do have enough items that 99.9% of the members will get what they ordered.
