Has anybody got the DSP working on their 3e amp yet? I bought the USBi adaptor from them, got SigmaStudio software up and running. The driver is recognised and all the connections are in green without any errors. But when I click 'Link Compile Download' there's an error message saying that the hardware isn't connected. So I haven't been able to save any of my EQ changes to the EPROM which is apparently on board the amp.
Can anyone help please?

Has anybody had experience with this amp? It's a Bluetooth TPA3255 amp from Aiyima, but somewhat different from all the BT amps I've seen mentioned here. Notice it has a BT/aux toggle, but uses external power supply.

Hi amigos,
I gave a test with the HanZao TPA3255 + OPA1692, I think it is the very first time they have been tested here with the TPA325X chip.
AMAZING OP AMPS !!!!!! Wouaaaaaaaaaaaa
An incredible definition! the highs are so good! The voices stand out wonderfully on the front of the stage, it's clean and what a soundstage! Love it )
Here are some videos, they are worth what they are worth but it gives an idea from a distance)

Hi Dani
Do you have a link for that 48v power supply you are using?

I have purchased two of these products and are currently using them.
The price is cheap, but the manufacturing quality is very good.
The sound quality is as good as AIYIMA A07 & A04.
There is no pop noise when the power is turned on / off.
White noise when there is no sound is a level that cannot be confirmed unless the ear is attached to the speaker unit.
It is convenient to have a tone control for normal use.
There is only one point to worry about.
Every time the power is turned on, continuous noise with a high frequency of about 10 seconds is generated. (piee ...)
The noise level is very small and does not matter. After 10 seconds, the noise will stop and become quiet.
This symptom is not limited to this unit, but is common to amplifiers equipped with other BTs.

For the HanZao, I am using this one :
STA516 TAS5613 TAS5630 carte amplificateur de puissance audio numerique haute puissance DC36V 9.5A 350W carte d'alimentation adaptateur d'alimentation a decoupage | AliExpress
For the Shui Yuan this one :
Commutateur d'amplificateur HIFI 500W, commutateur souple, alimentation haute puissance, sortie cc unique 24V 36V 48V 60V 70V 80V, remplacement de RingCow H133 | AliExpress
Thanks Dani
Does the first one has soft start? It's not clear from the info in aliexpress
Is there a pop when on/off?

Hi,
None of these PSU has a soft start, no use because both modules have an Anti Pop when switching ON / OFF. 🙂

Hi dani, in your opinion which is the one that sounds best to you, HanZao or Shui Yuan? Thanks.
Both are really great for the price.
The HanZao has some larger inductors (they are bigger than any other TPA3255 I have), with OPA1692 I found the bass really accurate and deep with an amazing sounstage. The module is bigger than the Shui Yuan, so depending on your project, it could not fit in a small case. The HanZao is also more "industrial", the welds are made in series by machines.
I did not listen to it enough to pronounce myself with relevance.
These are two super modules at very competitive prices

I already tried OPA1692, and it is the best sounding opamp for my IRS2092 module (IRCore350M) It is taming the highs and slightly fatten the mids.
For TPA3255, OPA1692 is slightly similar to OPA1656, finer highs but with less definition and slightly muddy mids. The most neutral sounding is the LME49720, inoffensive highs, can't go wrong with it.

Thanks Jlester,
I also gave a test with OPA1622, it is too "linear" for me... This one is particulary suitable for a DAC.

Thanks Toku. Very useful information.
I went on mouser to buy OPA1656 for Aiyima, there are 2 of them (OPA1656ID and OPA1656IDR), not sure which one to buy. Also does the chip fit directly on the dip-8 socket, or do I need an adapter?

The OP amplifier is the same. However, the structure of the package is different.
OPA1656IDR is a reel-shaped tape packaged with 2500 chips.
OPA1656ID is packaged in tape in units of 75 pieces.
When you place an order, we will cut and ship the required number from them.

Thanks. With your help, I was able to find a few links to all the components I need.

Hi drmordor
What is your goal with this board? Is it a follower up of the Akita board you are building now? What are the most important gains you want to accuire with this beautiful looking child of yours?

Yes, this is an evolutionary continuation of my TPA325x amplifier.
Very low THD+N and better sound.

- one of this board (its stereo?)
