While they last...

I have some of these, and I will be documenting their use in the sequel to the
DIY Sony Vfet amps design. This will be a more flexible board, the Sony version
being specific to the 2SJ28/2SK82. Initial version will accommodate other SITs in
TO-3 packages, and will be followed by version for the bigger parts, up to the
1 KW 2SK182 parts.

More info landing. Thank you for the disclosure. I am glad to have scored some of these. They are still available on Fleabay and I have curved traced them. They are genuine.

nothing wrong with dirty sand

you can make either good germanium 3 legged fuses, or bad toob bottles

:clown:

there is something funny with sound of big fat germanium

I can't explain to my self what is it, just looking at THD graphs, but there is it

( dooh, I'm doing it again....... highjacking Papa's threads........ )

mindutis, that looks like an automatically generated website and is almost certainly a scam.

It is so easy to be lured these days. Not worth risking there.

Noticed an interesting sentence in the description:
"Typical characteristics of this FET are spread very wildly. Specially, Idss value are far from the data sheet anounced by THOKIN."

Can those transistors be even called as 2SK182E if they do not fulfill the requirements from datasheet? Or do they get worse by the time?
Just curios 🙂

Dont know how that happened but I just bought two THF-51S.
Must be Mr. Pass magic!

I see that Mr. Totmoaki added a lot of matched pair THF-51S. Or was it there yesterday?
Price difference from random parts is $58.
I start to find excuses like my ears must not hear the same level either..
Or should I ask Mr. Totmoaki to match them for extra $$?
Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

write to Pras, to see what she is offering

aha, you already bought them

in any case, just reminding what Pa wrote in post #1 :

I am contemplating a couple of projects using them, and I advise anyone
who wants to play to acquire them while you still can. All three part
types are usable and most applications would not require matching.
