Bill, you ‘ve read dramatic change opinions on the effect of a few stones or magic crystals strategically placed in the room, how can you still be skeptical over the change from a whole 1/4inch speaker placement change on the speaker-room acoustic interaction?

Should I place a friendly reminder that this is one more of your iconoclastic behavior manifestations (you keep on enjoying listening to 16/44.1 format, you openly speak of DSP hardware permanently plugged in your signal chain-not to mention that RIAA equalization in SW- now this … )

Adding to my belief that everything we say here is being recorded, for no reason at all Youtube recommended several videos on Apollo mission computers yesterday.

It turns out in 1969 they used 15(14)bit numbers with simple sign/magnitude but the guidance software had provision for double and triple resolution numbers which would be (?) 44bits plus sign or around 13 decimal digits resolution.
