Hi Fab,
I’m unclear if RV1B/RV2B are removed once RV1A/RV2A are calculated and installed? Thanks.
RV1B/RV2B stays in place too, after calculated and installed.
Hi Meanie
have you tried a classic PSU A / B against SLB ...
you heard some difference?
Τhanks
My USSA5 is about to get house into a new chassis, currently having the heatsinks drill n tap.
So far very happy running with the CRCRC ps. When It does goes into the chassis, it will be powered by SLB.
Then I will post some findings then.
I m still waiting for the proper transformer for the SLB
Good progress VunceI made some progress
The SLB psu is good to go and the USSA5 boards are ready for the first stage of adjustments.
I really like the parts you use for test point
Can you share part number.
Thanks
Fab

Here you go Fab:
5002 Keystone Electronics | Mouser
They are very handy to have, the Fluke “pincher” style leads attach very securely to them. You can find them a bit cheaper than Mouser, try eBay
I have a few heatsink options for the USSA5.
This is the smallest size,
300mm x 125mm x 25mm (fins) with 10mm base thickness.
My planned psu will be 24-26vdc with approximately 1.3A bias current.
What do you think Fellas, will this HS option be adequate for the USSA5?

Thanks for the feedback, it is quite useful to know which match works fine.Last Sunday I viseted Asanden and we did listen to some music .
USSA 5 and B1Nutube , perfect combo for me .
The B1 Korg Nutube has very good review from what I notice.
