with some extra components those even support negative rials, but they can be a bit noisy and i have heard people complain that they break easily
I have seen that the case of this amp is beautifull, I have work with a hybrid circlotron and I want to try build this in a nice case, if I want it small a hybrid class D is nice, problem, class D is not yet interesting for audiofieles.
Do you buy the case? or make them yourselfs?
I had idea as on pic, have buy me a metal lathe already and a precision woodsaw etc, I can then after the summer starting with that.
Very nice and compact design, looks good with tubes. on pic a two tube driver for testing circlotrons.
Go on with this beautifull work.
regards

I can imagine that. You have to manage shielding a lot of interference.class D is not yet interesting for audiofieles.
Did some ebay browsing and found that case, but no information is given about its size. At least I couldn't find it.Thank you all🙂
The housing is available on eBay under the slogan "A0609 mini amplifier". Supports headphones from 32 - 600 ohms, columns 4 or 8 ohms. It is currently for sale.

ROCKMANDRAKE,
Nice!
I never was able to make my 300B amps look good.
Hellotron,
Very good looking!
I am not afraid of lower power amps for many applications, even if the speakers are not real efficient.

My former "production". Tubes 2x EL95, power out 2x 3W.
I love amps where the tubes stick out, but damn that is a good looking amplifier that proves you can do otherwise!
do you have pictures with the lids off?
That looks very clean....what is the design based on? looks like DHT with maybe 300b?Hi there,
my very last design 🙂
I have but another ...
On the right tube I detect "UCL 93" from Mullard, is that correct? Never was aware of this tube.
Yes, that's right. These amplifiers were also built on such tubes as: ECL80, EL42*, EL85*, EL95*, ECL83, UCL83, and in the larger housing ECL86, EL41*, EL84+6112.
*hybrid version (LND150 preamplifier).
