i think he talking about a TO-3p or TO-264 version of your designs, since both versions are also available from Exicon (still in production), also the 2SK1058/2SJ162 (End of life already announced) from Renesas will fit
i support this idea 😉.

No. We're hard to find the 2N556x to check my this project before. I'm sure I not said any bad of our. Where are the find bad written ?
Are you sweetlove6389 on VNAV forum? Do you have PCB for this project? Looks like member Trinh_anhtu on that forum have made some PCB that is pretty universal. Are any of these PCB available for us normal mortal in Europe or USA? Or are they only available for the fine Vietnamese people 😛

GM is also our interested subject. The members of that forums who has tried to purchase 2N5564/2N5565/2N5566 from possible wherever. Most of them are fake or not genuine. So, please BEWARE when you buy these JFETs!
There are few other ones that can well replace like Linear System's JFETs.
If i'm not wrong. The one who you are talking about, he also want to selling 2N5564/2N5565/2N5566 with undefined quality for anyone needed.

Some my friend want the make a few PCB too after them listen GM. I using TL5000 schematic as some images you see before at this thread.
Actually I know the GM sound, as I got a set of QuangHao´s pcb and made a Telos 400, but I sold it and would like to build another.😀
And I have an almost finished layout made with To3 types Mosfets, but otherwise a Telos circuit. But it would be easier to use a readymade PCB and be sure there is no mistakes in the layout. There could be mistakes in my layout. I have attached the layout. It is a 1 channel and with a heatsink on each side.
Any comments? Maybe other would be interested in using this? I could use somebody to check the layout, and suggest changes and look for faults.

My plan is a smaller one, maybe 1 pair TO-3, 50W@8R, for those who have bookshelf speakers and I think it would be a good balance between cost and the enjoy of great GM sound.
Ok thx. Here are the .pcb and .sch files. They are generated in expressPCB and expressSCH.
The reason I chose TO-3 types is twofold:
1: I have a bunch of ALFET 08P16 and 08N16 laying around, enough for this project anyway.
2: Long time ago I and a couple of other constructors, investigated the difference in sound production between TO-3 and TO-247(TO-3P) houses (plastic houses) and TO-3 sounded better!

Made a couple of changes to the PCB file. Reason: I would like to place a shield over the input and the VAS parts, but I had routed some top layer tracks between the two. They are now on bottom layer.
What the schematic your using ? can you export schematic to images then post here ?
