I Will be using 2 of this boards for a DIY sony Vfet in monoblocks.

I think 33kuf is enough for the capacitance but don't know what kind of rectifiers are the best for this aplication. The universal psu uses dual rectifier diodes , 3 legged ones. Need advice here.

The other parts used in the universal psu are resistors and the bleeder ones. Can I repeat the values here? Or is there a way to find the right values? I am building the vfet amp the best way with the minimum compromises. Thank you

There are no boards left. However I have ordered 50 more as I have been getting some requirements through PM and for local sale. Price will be 5.3 USD per PCB. PCB will be available with me in another 18 days approx.

Hi Joca,
Could you let us know the current demand from amp? and supply voltages?
Once you know the current you could calculate the voltage drop across CRC resistor (ohm's law) and its power rating.

Also with 33kuF, a soft start would be necessary.

You could use ohm's law to calculate power rating of led and bleeder resistors.
e.g. for bleeder, I= V(supply)/R(bleed), Power= I*I*R. Similarly for led as given on the schematic on page 1.

Well, I'm in the vfet forum to understand what are the needs, but meanwhile,

Current demanding is 0,5 amp, I think. The power of the amp is 15W 8ohm, with 22vac supply voltages, 28vdc after rectification. Maybe the 33kuf capacitance is on the high side.

Considering these specs a 0.22 0hm 5w crc resistor would be sufficient. 2 amps current across 0.22 ohm. Bleeder could be 1k5 to 2k2 , 1 to 2w rating be sufficient.

Hi Prasi

Got little confused with the caps orientation for the new blue mask pcbs? Also the same with the case of the LED orientation and not sure which side has a slight notch or cut for the anode/cathode direction. Can you please help, thanks
