100W Ultimate Fidelity Amplifier

NX14

Apex, this is just amazing. I built the mosfet version and just replaced the P250s with 40N60 IGBTs and the results were amazing. Little heating and very good sonics were the results. I couldn't believe it. It behaves well even with a 2 ohm load with 30Vx2 ac which produces 41.5V dc. Thanx man. I loved this version:D

NX14? The only change was output devices?
Very interesting. Any measurements available?

FX10

hello Mile, i build the fx10 and have around 29v dc on output, rails voltage +/- 35 v, but if the 2 resistor (22k) connected to each emitter A837 & C4793, on output have around 2 mv dc. is it ok to change like this ? btw this amp have a good sound (for me) thanks

Usually the current source resistors (22K) would be connected to the power rails (+-40v here). I can see no benefit to the connection to the VAS shown in the design.
