thanks again. That1606 has -103dBv noise for balanced input and <0.001% THD+N.
I know better results can be achieved with differential opamps such as opa1632.
I am in search of a simple input stage that can be easily configured for both balanced and unbalanced input. Single chip solution even better.

Nothing final yet. Thinking about Buck (LM25017 or similar) + Transformer for the negative voltage + Linear ldos
anyone knows the bias voltage at the TPA inputs ?
datasheet says 7Vpp max and few pages later +-3,9Vp.
AVDD being 7.8V it is tempting to guess bias = AVDD/2 = 3.9V

we're thinking an alternative : OPA1632 single power.
To avoid coupling caps between OPA and TPA, use AVDD/2 for Vocm.
R9=R10=2K7
any thoughts ?
(TPA power supply is +36V. typo on the picture)

Hi Alkasar,
I think this should work fine. Try it out and let us know! Keep an eye on pop & click issues at startup. You might want to measure offset to make sure it hasn't gotten worse. There is a risk of DC on the speakers if the inputs become unbalanced, but the diff opamp should work to keep them together.

C3 C4 are still series caps...this is better how?
I do think it is a good idea but needs some more work.
1 cap in series is twice as good as 2 caps in series like in the EVM 😉 that's for the joke. Not sure it's true.
A dc servo could be added to remove all caps but so far it's not the intention.

while talking about startup,
how is it that Vin_x , the dc bias at the input (red arrow) equal to AVDD / 2, is present BEFORE AVDD (blue arrow) ?

TPA3251 PurePath™ Ultra-HD AMPLIFIER MODULE COMPLETE
Good day!
Friends here
Sinewave complete the first batch TPA3251 amplifier module manufacturing now.
Very quiet when power on, even put your head to the speakers surface, you hear nothing, most time you can't believe the AC power on.
Very clear sound, like Spring like Streams, it is enjoyment of music.
Works stable, even shorted the output and give large signal.
If these chips price lower, the TAS series PurePath HD chip will have to discounted

"140-W Stereo into 4 Ω in BTL Configuration "
What happened?
Total Output Power at 1%THD+N
– 140-W Stereo into 4 Ω in BTL Configuration
AS Hi-Fi version, we never use 10%THD+N data.1% is the max value we can accept
140W every channel, total power 2X140W/4Ω

Ah, alright then. Nice. Does this module needs to be mounted on another Heatsink? I miss some information about maximum ambient temperature. Does it work for infinite time under full sine load?

Recommand to assemble the module to more bigger heatsink under full loader runing, of course fan cooling system added no problems.
Because TPA3251 run at 600KHz, idle loss bigger than lower frequency amplifier, but we use one 15mm thickness good quality aluminum plate and pass mlling machining , so the heat dissipation performance well, only feel warmer
Crrent room temperature 29°C,24hours temperature value show in the picture below:

Thanks. I would recommend to not to use the cheapest screw terminals around. Are the ones used here rated for full load current and do wires 2.5-mm^2 fit nicely?
Nice module btw. Any chance to see the bottom side to check for creeping distance and safety margins? Thanks again. 🙂

Screw terminals quality good, it is professional type, not normal plastic version,ROHS and high current, max wire area is 3.93mm^2,25A current max, 5.08mm-2p
6mm distance from PCB to heatsink overlayer, heatsink cad drawing attached
