NC 500's spreading like wildfire! We have another manufacturer selling amps with a very similar buffer board to boggit, but without the HxR regulators:
? Hypex ncore nc 500 mono's..unieke kans..Nu e. 1.956,- - Versterkers en Receivers - Marktplaats.nl
We have Ghent audio selling cased pre-drilled for the NC-500's
ghentaudio --- Hypex & NCore NC400 NC500 NC1200 UcD700 Case-kit
I wonder who the source of the modules are?

".... like wildfire..." LOL - nice marketeering there 😉

Just realized I posted this on the wrong thread. Anyways not my products so no marketerring from me 🙂
Regarding the wildfire, pretty soon the chinese or china based western brands will get in on the nc500 action, then we'll see even better prices. 🙂
BTW, why doesn't the stock version have the HXR regulators, just the custom buffer one? I would think the stock opamp, good regulators is the one to get.

Only problem is the Chinese still need to buy the amps from Hypex. I think the pricing is already pretty much rock bottom without running a charity organization.
If you're talking about Boggit's amp, you can always put the LM4562 opamp in the socket of the upgraded buffer board if you think it's best.
Doesn't the regulator go on the hypex module? My point was to get it's benefits without the expensive input buffer.
Also, can you purchase the regulators yourself from Hypex and install them on the stock amp?

Boggit,
if you want to sell a hybrid version please look at my 6n16 buffer.
This compact design can use the hypex power supply, goes up to 100khz, has very low noise and distorsion.
I have build a view with ucd400oem and they sound also great.

Hi Boggit,
Any upcoming plan for NC1200 version making use of the same platforms (ie same casing, same type of buffer option & etc ...) as NC500 ?
EH.

Sure you can. Just try not to wreck them in the process.

What benefit? HXR regulator is only for inputbuffer.
You just answered your own question.
Plenty of info on the Ncore thread pertaining to this matter
Can you mount the hxr with the standard input buffer? There's no need to make embarrass yourself with gifs when you won't or can't answer a simple question.
